Well-intentioned advice about acting and modeling sometimes does more
to hurt than help, but soldier on. 
Soon you will be memorizing
multiple monologues and reciting endless pages of dialogue. All
acting and modeling jobs will not make you an instant star, but each
one brings you a step closer.
The process of becoming a huge talent in acting and modeling must be played like a game where you are acting and modeling your way around an imaginary set of bases, hoping to eventually make that home run.
